Academics

Zion offers a wide array of academics for our students. Christian education is a vital aspect of God’s mission and Zion Classical Academy assists parents in this important endeavor. Zion Classical Academy is fully accredited nationally through the National Lutheran School Accreditation program of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

We have chosen a challenging and developmentally appropriate classical Christian curriculum for each grade level. We offer small class sizes and individual attention so each child will be poised to succeed in all academic areas. Our preschool program will help your child to develop social and academic skills that will provide for a smooth transition to kindergarten.

In addition to all of the grade-appropriate core classes, Zion Classical Academy offers academic competitions, athletics, fine arts and more. All students get to participate in our annual school-wide academic fair. Previous years have included the Science Fair, World’s Fair, History Fair, and Fine Arts Fair. Whether students participate in athletics, fine arts, or choose to focus entirely on academics, Zion encourages students to glorify God through their actions and to actively find their place as a part of the body of Christ.

We invite parents to visit the school to observe their child’s class activities. Please contact your child’s teacher to schedule a time that will be beneficial to you and not cause disruption in the classroom.
